Unit Import NEW PROCESS

Sometimes the smallest little things can make the biggest difference. Active pricing and current model management is always a struggle when using any pricing system.

As of today, we will be able to bulk import a few new columns for your units and parts. I will cover Parts in a different email. Look for that email in a couple of days after this communication.

FOR UNITS

  1. We can now upload a column that has the status of the unit. Active, Inactive, Archived, Pending, or Non-Stock.

  2. You can determine if a unit should use our Lexicon data or use your local data and bypass our library of information.

  3. We can also now upload any part number or Catalogue number that is associated with a particular unit.

This part or catalogue number will now appear on the financial and "won" email. This will assist your people when ordering equipment that requires the ordering by a cat number or part number to be accessible without additional references.

You will just need to provide those necessary numbers for uploading to the program. I am adding the additional sheet here for reference. ALSO... You can go to "Reports" in your admin area and download your units if you want to add these variables and then submit them to us through the form submission tool HERE.

Keep in mind the columns required for this price upload are still just model, brand and cost. The three new columns are for your convenience. If you leave them blank, the Status column will auto-format to Active. The "use local data" will be determined as "1". Use Lexicon is "0".

If you change the status of a unit to Archived, those models will not be available for NEW proposals but they will still appear in the older, offered or won proposals. Otherwise, left blank will give a unit status of "Active".

As always it is VERY important that you update your browser, clear your cache and recycle your device during these types of changes and upgrades.

Hope this helps with your continued ease of navigation in the program.
